The entire Powell County Sheiff Office dispatch center was upgraded to include structured cabling to support voice, video and data; a new network based Avaya telephone system; a local area network running Windows 2000 Server; a network firewall; high-speed Internet access; videoconferencing access to the Montana Supreme Court videoconferencing network; radio and telephone integration at the dispatch stations; enhanced 9-1-1 system integrated into the existing mapping system.

The entire system was installed over the course of a two (2) month time span without any downtime from start of the project until the end of the training. A five (5) year total maintenance package was also included with the solution for the enhanced 9-1-1 system with a 4-hour on-site response time.
